Counselors

Counselors are key to our Cub Weeks Program. Many of our counselors have been past Cubs themselves and know the program quite well. Camp Okoboji recruits youth, preferably 17 years old or older who enjoy working with younger children. It is important that they understand that Staff and Counselors are at Camp for the Cubs that we serve. We desire to give both Cubs and Counselors a distinctly Christian camp experience. While we try to work in some free time for the counselors, it is an intense week with a full schedule. However, being a counselor is also very rewarding and many counselors consider it one of the best experiences of their lives.
